Sorry for the double post - and please no one roast me for this.

There's a lawyer on Tik Tok who mentioned payment issues within the last few days (JQK Immigration). They said they were having credit card filings being placed on hold due to payment issues, and then these issues were later found to be clerical issues. They ended up getting the NOAs a few weeks later.

They said 1 in 20 of their filed cases saw this, and that it started cropping up in December.

Just wanted to share - maybe its a simiilar issue to what you are seeing, especially since it says balance due is $0.

Also too my NOA for my wife were sent out before the checks were cashed. NOA was sent on 1/31/2025 but the checks cashed did not show up in my bank account till today and was dated 2/3/2025 as cashed via ETF. Did you have enough funds for them for the checks to clear?

Did you send one check for both forms? (I think you mentioned filing for AOS and EAD? Correct me if I'm wrong though!)

We wrote two checks - one for the I-485 and one for the I-765.

Reading is what? Fun-da-men-tal!

Anyone else notice the "My Progress" tab missing from their case info in the my.uscis.com portal for the last few days? Are they finally getting rid of the most broken feature of any website ever made?    :D :D :D

Just my update:

Done with biometrics today in Cincinatti... Scheduled at 12nn yet they did it when we arrived around 1130 since nobody was there. 😅

Drive was hour and a half, so a total of 3hrs road trip with mom in law for the less than 10 mins transaction... 😆

So now the waiting game.

Was thinking they could have removed this process and just went on getting our biometrics in the US embassy where we applied.. oh well atleast its done..

When my wife has to go we have to go to Honolulu which is in my state but since I live in a neighboring island I have to take a $300 plane ride probably another $300 hotel room and either Lyft or Uber for probably the same 10 min visit lol.

Wow!!! Thats a lot.. and to think we already did our biometrics too in the embassy where we applied. They could just have linked that on their system too.. but oh well we gotta do what we gotta do.

Yeah. But its for my wife so it will be worth it in the end when it's all said and done. 🥰 I'm still waiting for my NOA with the appointment date to arrive but checking the case status it does show her appointment has been set though if they ask me to go farther than Hawaii for her biometrics I'm gonna ask USCIS to reimburse me 🤣
