Quick question y'all! We're about to send off all the paperwork (drowning in it) and we're doubting for the IRS transcripts for the 864. His last one, from 2023 (haven't filed 2024 yet) shows he makes well above the poverty line. If we'd add the ones from 2022 and 2021, it shows he's always made enough but there's significant jumps in salary.

Is there a benefit of adding them if the one from 2023 shows he makes plenty?

they only require the one year of tax return transcripts
i wouldn't worry about it if he makes well above the poverty line

i only included 2023, but I also included my W2 for 2024, 6 months of pay stubs, and an employment authorization letter

@Aserc If you filed your paperwork and paid the fees via check did they already cash the check?

Yes they did like 3 days after they gave me a text.. did you check yours? Them cashing the cheque is an indication probably.. have you tried contacting them or using the Ask Emma on site?

Posted (edited)

@AsercHaven't received any notification nor were my checks cashed. Also checked my post office in case they sent anything back but they did not. I tried to ASK Emma on site but was told via a live agent it can take up to 30 business days (6 days so far at the time of writing) before anything happens. Though this is the second time I had to send in the forms because I forgot to put 1 paper and and it was sent back and I was asked to put a paper from them about refiling and make sure to put  it on top so perhaps that's what may be causing a slight delay in my update for my filing?

On the 1 hand I'm glad nothing got sent back this time for now, but now just the waiting without knowing any updates is stressing me lol.

We're in the same boat - not a peep since we filed (jan 6), though we did not include the form that makes them send a text. We'll just have to wait.

Reading is what? Fun-da-men-tal!

Oh dear.. i feel anxious too esp that my NOA has not arrived on mail and they texted me about my biometric schedule yet no mails. Glad ask emma gave my access code so i sort of have the soft copies of the letters.. im sure it will come soon. Might be some delays.
