Hello!

 

Does filing i-129f while your Canadian fiancé is the USA look bad on the application? Question 38a asks if they are currently in the USA, if they are here as a visitor for a few weeks and then leaving, is that okay? I may be over thinking it but thought I'd ask!

My fiance and I filed and sent the I-129f while I was there visiting her. We sent it, included my I-94 number and mentioned I was leaving at the end of January and it never came up again. We even got the required photos from the same place and included them.

 

Our letter of intent also mentioned that I was there at time of filing, making our 'time since last meeting' time effectively 0 days

Yes, more then acceptable , hopefully she has  what docs are needed for her with her for the K1 filing.

June 5th,2019   USCIS received my response per NOID,   Addressed the NOID myself, No lawyer ever used in case.

July 1st, 2019  10 YEAR GREEN CARD APPROVED

July 5th, 2019   Approval letters for I-130 & I-485 received in the USPS  mail.

July 11th 2019   Green Card in Hand
