Hi everyone. Just wanted to join the thread for the updates.

Technically I filed at the end of December (30th) but figured my case was essentially a January case. So here we are.

My I-751 application with divorce waiver and I-912 fee waiver was received by USICS on Dec 30 2024 (sent to Phoenix Lockbox)

I received the NOA/extension letter (48 months) and biometric reuse letter in my USCIS account on January 18th 2025. I suspect this took slightly longer because of the fee waiver application and the holidays.

Now the waiting game begins 🙂

Is that your first communication with USCIS? Or do you know how long did it take from the case being added to your account to receiving biometric-reuse and extension letter?

It’s not likely to be listed as a requirement because its benefit is not essential—just a convenient way to receive updates on processing progress.

I don’t mean that it’s not a requirement, but it seems like it’s not actually accepted for the I-751 according to the G-1145 instructions and so would generally be ignored.

Unless the instructions directly from USCIS are incorrect, they state on their website for the G-1145:

  • This service is only available for certain forms filed at our four Lockbox locations in Lewisville, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Elgin, Illinois; and Phoenix, Arizona.

You may submit Form G-1145 with the following forms:

  • EOIR-29, Notice of Appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals from a Decision of a DHS Officer;
  • I-102, Application for Replacement/Initial Nonimmigrant Arrival-Departure Document;
  • I-130, Petition for Alien Relative;
  • I-131, Application for Travel Documents, Parole Documents, and Arrival-Departure Documents;
  • I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker;
  • I-212, Application for Permission to Reapply for Admission into the U.S. After Deportation or Removal;
  • I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er) or Special Immigrant;
  • I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status;
  • I-485 Supp A, Supplement A to Form I-485, Adjustment of Status Under Section 245(i);
  • I-589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal;
  • I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility;
  • I-601A, Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver;
  • I-694, Notice of Appeal of Decision Under Sections 245A or 210 of the Immigration and Nationality Act;
  • I-698, Application to Adjust Status from Temporary to Permanent Resident (Under Section 245A of the INA);
  • I-765, Application for Employment Authorization;
  • I-800, Petition to Classify Convention Adoptee as an Immediate Relative;
  • I-800A, Application for Determination of Suitability to Adopt a Child from a Convention Country;
  • I-817, Application for Family Unity Benefits;
  • I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status;
  • I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals;
  • I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition;
  • N-565, Application for Replacement Naturalization/Citizenship Document; or
  • N-600K, Application for Citizenship and Issuance of Certificate under Section 322.

Thanks. I did not realize G-1145 is not submitted with the I-751.

Where did you find your USCIS online account number?

I could not find our USCIS online account number in the https://my.uscis.gov/ login?

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/827933-how-to-find-the-uscis-online-account-number-in-myuscisgov/

We got the USCIS online account number from the NOA from our previous I-485 when applying to adjust status.

Thanks. But we don't have the online account number in NOA1 or NOA2.

The online access number was sent in an email separately to us, but it was a 1-time use code.

Good to know! Mine was received on 1/15.

Did not get a text (despite attaching a G-1145) but I did receive an email re “An Action Has Been Taken” so I logged in and checked that the case had been added to my account the night of 1/17. Have not had the payment debited yet, expecting it to happen sometime early next week (personal check).

Looks like I spoke too soon on the G-1145. I did end up receiving a text message today at around noon that my case was received hah, so it looks like they are processing G-1145 at Elgin for I-751! Still no further updates online ("Case was received a receipt was sent") and payment not debited yet as of 1/21/25.
