Good to know! Mine was received on 1/15.

Did not get a text (despite attaching a G-1145) but I did receive an email re “An Action Has Been Taken” so I logged in and checked that the case had been added to my account the night of 1/17. Have not had the payment debited yet, expecting it to happen sometime early next week (personal check).

Keep us posted when the receipt/biometric documents appear on your end. Mine has no documents so far, only says “Case was received and a receipt was sent”.

Absolutely!

I'm sure there will be update next week since its been a week.

I really wonder why I didn’t receive any notification via email or uscis platform. I just received the extension letter

Because USCIS IT systems are pretty bad?

Did you check online status yourself for your case? Is it up to date?

G-1145 is known to be working half of the time.

Greetings all,

I'm anxiously awaiting to join the January 2025 filers club.

My cover letter and evidence list look like

Any feedback is welcome.

I will probably send the I-751 package out sometime next week.

I'm just trying to make sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed 😂

I believe the G-1145 isn’t actually accepted for the I-751 (it’s not amongst the forms listed in the instructions under ‘where to file’). We did get notification via the online portal though (we included the USCIS online account number on the I-751). Not sure which option you tried, but figured I’d share in case that could have been the reason, since I see people mentioning the G-1145.

Thanks. I did not realize G-1145 is not submitted with the I-751.

Where did you find your USCIS online account number?

I could not find our USCIS online account number in the https://my.uscis.gov/ login?

This is actually not true. The G-1145 is an optional form designed solely to provide electronic notifications. It serves no other purpose.

It’s not likely to be listed as a requirement because its benefit is not essential—just a convenient way to receive updates on processing progress.

Ist there any way to submit this after everything else was sent out?

Unfortunately, no. The G-1145 must be included with your I-751 petition when you initially file it, as it is meant to be placed on top of your application package to signal your request for an e-notification upon acceptance.

Sent our package 1/13

Delivered thru Fedex: 1/14

No emails, texts from USCIS and check hasnt been withdrawn from our bank yet.

Good luck to us All.

The payment part seems normal given this is a long weekend. Even if they processed your payment on the 16th or 17th, it won’t show up on the bank’s end until tomorrow (21st) at the earliest.

My case was received on the 15th, and added to my online account (no text notification) on the night of 17th (Friday). So am guessing the payment goes thru sometime Tuesday/Wednesday and hopefully there is some movement (extension letter/biometrics) by end of the week.

Did you mail it to the Elgin lockbox? And have you checked *his* USCIS online account yet?

Yes, Elgin lockbox.  I'm trying to remember how to get into his account now. 😃
