What do you mean by that? If you became a citizen by operation of law as a minor, you did not naturalize. Your parent did.

It's possible USCIS doesn't believe / cannot establish you're a US citizen. Hence my question, what evidence of US citizenship did you provide?

In the evidance I provided certificate of neturalization. Actually I got it at age 25. I was green card holder prior to my neturalization.

Do you mean certificate of citizenship? Or certificate of naturalization?

Well my main concern is what options do I have? Do I just keep waiting? Do I hire lawyer at this point? Do I contact congressmen again?

Call USCIS

Open inquiry online

Chat to Emma bot

Contact Congressman

You can involve lawyer but it would be expensive

But you said you naturalized at age of 25? At that point parent isn't in the picture...

You're posting too much conflicting information.

well my divorced mom married a USC when I was around 12, I got to US around 15 with a green card. And at 25 I applied for neturalization.

Ok. You got US citizenship on your own not through parent. You only got greencard through parent.  So you haven't been a US citizen since age 15 but rather since age 25.

I hope you didn't put in the application that you've been a US citizen since 15?

I also hope you've not been claiming US citizenship since 15 before you actually become a citizen at 25.

The application did not ask when you become citizen....

Right. How about the question of how you obtained citizenship? Did you choose Parents or Naturalization? The answer to that will inform USCIS when you acquired citizenship. And there could potentially be a conflict between your answer and your naturalization certificate.

Either ways, I think you probably have to look into WoM.

It's naturalization

Did you try any of the methods of reaching out to USCIS I listed earlier?

I attempted contact congressmen last Augest but pretty much they just said case was complicated and need more waiting....

I plan to contact USCIS at start of Feb directly. If it doesnt work I will try ombusmen and if that doesn't work my last option will be contacting a lawyer. But I dont plan waiting 10 more month as the progress indicates.

August.

What makes them think the case is complicated? It doesn't look complicated to me. Unless we're missing important context in this thread.

This is smart. Those estimates don't mean a thing. It may show 7 days to decision tomorrow and 35 months the day after tomorrow.
