N400 Delay

Hello. I filed my N400 application for naturalization in December 2023. It’s been over a year now and I have still not gotten an interview or biometric scheduled. Why is it taking so long? What should I do next. 
side note: I did receive a letter saying I may not need to do biometrics based on what they have on file for me. Please help.

@SusnOwen it says: Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS. Progress is at step 2 (Biometric reused). Next should be step 3 (interview scheduled)

You need to chase it up then, published processing times for your office are 8 months so you’re well outside of that. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt
