out of statis F-1 Student married to a US Citzen

Timeline

Me and my husband have been married for 2 years Due to recent events at his college he has decided to leave his phd and start working. We have just sent our package out to adjust statis on july 19th 2007 and got our notice for Bio (Finger prints) to go in on Aug 28th 2007. What i need to know is what To do next i know it is a big waiting game. Is there anything on my side i need to do. Anyone out there that has had this same thing happen since he is no longer in school he is a NON STATIS (per uscis). I Guess i am realy anxious! I did the paper work on my own did not get a lawyer. I am sacred i messed up on paper work and all i think about all day long is this :) Pls if there is anyone out there that can give me a hand or talk with me it would be a great help

His out of status and illegal work are a non-issue for AOS because USCIS "forgive" those things if married to a US Citizen.

As for what do to next: He should go to his biometrics appointment! After that its a waiting game of seeing what USCIS does next.

If you messed up any of the paperwork you will get a "Request for Evidence" letter that will ask for additional paperwork, if you get one of those simply do what the instructions tell you. However don't worry about that now, you should cross that bridge when you get to it.

Everyone gets anxious in this process, that's perfectly normal. If you've got biometrics appointment you can't have messed up the paperwork too bad!
