Hello everyone,my fiance hired a lawyer coz he didn't want to do the paperwork,his schedule is tight.I noticed the lawyer paid less fee for my case which was filled after April 1 I tried to explain to the lawyer but he insisted that everything is fine otherwise USCIS could not have sent noa 1.its been 7 months should be worried about it 🥺can USCIS take all that time and end up sending a rejection 🤔 kindly respond

Do you have the receipt number that you can check the status online? If the status says, “We received your Form I-29F, and sent you a receipt notice.” that means they received the petition and are processing it. 7 months is not out of normal processing time.

Thanks for your response,I know it's 7 months is still on the right time line ,my question was is there a possibility for them to reject after 7 months ,I have the receipt noa

Not reject but deny.

These two words mean different things.

Yes, there's always possibility of denial.

Yes, there's always possibility of denial.

Denial because of fees yet it's their mistake they should have known before sending noa 1 notice
