Translations done in country of origin

Good morning,

I was wondering if any one has submitted translations of documents that were translated in their home country. Ten years ago I had to translate documents for my visa entry. This document was translated in my home country by a professional translator. The document has a stamp from the translator and her title in german "Diplom-Übersetzerin". I am worried that this isn't accepted or good enough since I don't have the translator certify completeness and accuracy (which in my opinion should be assumed by their stamp and signature). Therefore should I just go ahead and get the document translated again? 

If so does anyone recommend a good online translation service?
