IR1 - Passport returned without Visa (Islamabad embassy)

Hello,

 

My wife had her interview on October 18th, 2024, at Islamabad embassy. She was given 221g and asked to submit joint sponsor documents. I submitted everything on December 19th. Case status still showing refused and the passport is returned without visa or any explanation. Kindly advise what to do next? Appreciate your help

If you’ve submitted everything they asked for then there’s nothing to do but wait it out I’m afraid.

Correct.  It is not clear whether you'll be looking at just going through the review queue for a few weeks or the full security check process.  The passport is returned in case she needs it in the meantime.
