Please could someone help me, my husband wants to know how he can call and find out if the AOS bill payment has been recieved by the NVC? He also wants to know If calling to change HIS address ( the petioniner and agent) is easiest done over email or phone ?

Timeline

1) Yes, he can call NVC, speak to an operator and they will tell him if AOS payment was received.

2) I'd say easier over the e-mail, because there will be less chance for errors... but it takes over a week then. If urgent - call NVC, and if he wanted to call NVC anyway, he can kill two birds with one stone. The only problem is getting through to a live person :P

March'07 NOA1 date, case transferred to CSC

June'07 NOA2 per USCIS website!

Waiver I-751 timeline

July'09 Check cashed.

Jan'10 10 year GC received.

To reach a live person,

press 1 for english (or 2 for spanish)

press 5 for the operator.

Early morning (before 9am) calls have worked well for us.

I-130: 03/26/2007-07/02/2007 at NSC

NVC: 07/20/2007-11/08/2007

Interview at Montreal Consulate: 01/18/2008

(2 months' additional security checks)

Received Green Card: 05/12/2008

Removal of Conditions

I-751: 2/25/10-

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
