We submitted my wife's I-751 in early 2023 and then my wife submitted her N400 in July 2024. Shortly after, her I-751 was approved in November 2024 and she received her 10-yr green card one week alter. Then in December 2024, her N400 was scheduled. But a few days ago, we received a letter from USCIS that we will need to attend a combo interview for N400. In the meanwhile, the online status for I-751 changed from "approved" to "your case was transferred and a new field office has jurisdiction".

So is this normal? anything we need to prepare?

Not normal, I'd treat it as a combo interview.

I'd bring I-751 approval letter and 10 year GC to the interview.

I'd make sure both spouses show up to the interview and be ready to prove bonafide marriage.

When filing N-400, I'd imagine scan of her 2 year conditional card was uploaded. Officer probably got confused and didn't realize she already has 10 year GC.

My 751 was approved about a month before my N400 interview. I do not remember the wording of the interview letter, but I did attend with my husband and I am glad I did because the officer did ask to see him. Officer made it clear he was unaware of the approved 751, so maybe your situation is similar. I would not worry (but I would go with my spouse)
