My fiancé had her interview on December 10th at the Manila Embassy.  On December 11th, the status changed to Application Received on CEAC but hasn't changed since. I have called multiple times and they submitted an escalation on December 26th. Its been almost a month but still no answers other than they are still reviewing.  Is there anything else we can do?

Verbal approval is not an official approval. Have to wait.

I'm aware that it isn't final, my worry is that it has been so long. I'm assuming the longer it takes, the more negative the outcome. Others that were verbally approved were issued their visas within a week.

At 6 weeks, our case has still not been updated.  Multiple escalation, calls and emails have gone without a real explanation.  I have even started the process of involving our congress representative. Anyone else had this issue?

Well, if I understand correctly, fiance may have been placed under admin processing? Many went through this
