I've never known them to be open on the weekends for immigration medical services (medical exams, TB testing / follow-up, etc.)

She said she went this morning, Sunday, 5th, 2025, that address. I’ve been over 3 times, things have been normal and well.

I do find this a little troubling.  I created a gap in my work schedule and was planning a trip over in a few days.

She sent a screenshot of some weekend hours. I realize there are a few other St Luke’s facilities, mostly services for locals. She did say it was the address I posted above, the site used for Visa applicants.

I plan to continue the evaluation.

I know, the thing is, most everything has been ‘normal’.  I don’t consider myself naive. This is a little concerning.

I did ask a bunch of details before I mentioned St Luke’s doesn’t show being open on the weekends. Maybe it comes down that there isn’t much to ask? I know many of the ‘red flags’ that get mentioned. I also don’t see a good explanation for this.

Is it almost time to close this chapter?? Maybe.

Just back to fill in a few gaps, she came clean on this. She said she lied about the St Luke’s visit, the reason being to pay her father’s medical bills. Of course he has been at a totally separate medical facility. Also to mention, he has been a VERY absentee father, virtually no contact or financial assistance.

The rest is up for evaluation now. I told her it would of been much better to do the explanation first rather than the lie about a St Luke’s visit. I may jump ship over this, seems like a very serious betrayal. After some back & forth, my version of ‘Tampo’ is next.

So why did she feel the need to lie about it? I'm guessing that she does not have a receipt for this payment? I'm taking this as a very bad sign. With my first 2 relationships (with Filipinas) I had my blinders on and followed my heart instead of my mind. I realized later all of the red flags that were staring me in the face but I always let excuses and explanations override them because of what my heart wanted. After those 2 I learned to filter everything through my mind using logic rather than emotions. Luckily with my 3rd relationship I struck gold.

Sounds like another lie honestly. Sick family is a common one the bad ones will use because it will illicit guilt over making a big deal of it.

I sincerely hope it works out for you. Damn shame but unfortunately some of those girls are experts in deception and emotional manipulation. Best of luck to you.

Generally, one should not take relationship advice from strangers on the internet.

However, in this case, it is not likely that many of your friends and family have been able to meet your foreign partner.

I used to work for a rather popular men's publication.  And what I say here is not from any sort of position of a relationship expert, but merely one who has heard countless stories from other men, far beyond what my personal life experiences have given me.

It is often only in hindsight we can see red flags or relationship problems in the women we are emotionally attached to.

Lying to obtain money from your partner is a big one.

The Philippines is FULL of sweet, honest, loyal, trustworthy, Godfearing women.

Go find one.

Unless this girl is extremely young, this type of behavior is a moral failing that is going to cause you lots of problems in the future.

(FYI The other recurring theme I noticed in my time at that publication is that men often failed to take good relationship advice when it was offered.)

Negative:

St Lukes has never been open on Saturday or Sunday when I am there, I make it part of my morning walk when I am staying in Manila, I leave super early around 4 am and walk up and down Roxas and slip past St. Lukes Extension to see how many are in line. I have spent many months in Ermtia area.
