Can we start the Medical/Vaccination early?

I was thinking the other day that some of the vaccinations have to happen in series or over a period of a few months. Is there a place to find out what vaccinations need to be taken/have and list of places (in mexico) that are accepted? Then maybe we can get started early on them?

I asked my fiance this same thing...he stated that some of these things are only good for a certain amnt of time. Make sure you check on that!!!

try to find out about the required vaccinations for mexico, i guys they vary from country to country. maybe ask in your regional forum here in vj.

i recommend to get the vaccinations done early in time since as you said some happen in series so that you have all of them on the day of your medical.

i dont know how early you can have the actual medical examination, but i would wait for the interview date and get it done 1-2 weeks before that.

Vaccination requirements don't vary by country and they are not required for a K1 visa to be issued - they are required for AOS in the US. If you have the first part of a two part vaccination, most civil surgeons will sign off on the I-693 form required for AOS.

Vaccination Requirements

All applicants for immigrant visas are required to have the following vaccinations, if appropriate, for age, medical condition, or medical history:

Mumps

Measles

Rubella

Polio

Tetanus and diptheria toxoids

Pertussis

Influenza type B

Hepatitis B

Varicella

Pneumococcal

As a fiancé(e), you are not required to fulfill this requirement at the time of your medical examination for a fiancé(e) visa. However, you may want to do so. These vaccinations are required when you adjust status following your marriage.

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

Keep in mind that the vaccinations listed are also age-specific, so you won't have to get all of those.
