Hi everyone

I have a really silly question - so I have gotten my files ready for submission for the I-751, ok but I realised did I miss out on something?

So it says 2 years worth of marriage stuff - for me I am guess that would be 2023 + 2024.

But, I got married on Feb 2022...

So does it mean I need to include the evidence between Feb 2022-Dec 2022? (I added evidence from the year 2023 and 2023).

Brain fart but I could've sworn I had already submitted some photos after Feb 2022...unless I'm tripping and I haven't. I just remember taking all these photographs because I needed to submit stuff and getting an affidavit from a family member and I'm looking through even late 2022 I did submit those photos....

Wait, was this under AOS? I am so sorry I am exhausted lol.

What says it? I-751 instructions say you have to submit evidence from start of marriage to current date.

Apologies.

Yes you are right but during the AOS I had submitted stuff from Jul2022- Dec 2022 as so it seems.

So do I include that again?

Edit: I realised what happened was what I had submitted an RFE for AOS so I had included everything from 2022 at that time when it was requested.
Which is why I thought I had submitted evidence from that year.

I guess I will have to resubmit that year again.

I submitted some stuff that I already submitted during AOS, because instructions asked for evidence since beginning of marriage.

My I-751 was approved.

Each petition / application should be self sufficient and stand on its own.

We sent everything we had from the start of our marriage as per the I-751 instructions.  - That means we sent evidence we had already submitted with my husband's AOS. They asked for it - we sent it. It never hurts.

I was approved without an interview for both my 485 and my 751. I followed instructions to the T, and for the 751 I submitted some "substantial" evidence that I had already submitted with the 485, particularly IRS tax return transcripts, joint leases, and joint bank statements together with some wedding pictures.

As @OldUser has rightfully explained, each application is stand alone, and should be approved on its own merits. Basically because they are reviewed, approved/denied by different officers.
