I'm in a similar spot. So for the question on the I-864:

 

"15. Have you filed a federal income tax return for each of the three most recent tax years?", does one check the "No" box even though it is not practically possible to file the 2024 federal taxes yet in January (due to W2s, 1099s not coming out yet)?

Until the April 15, 2025 filing deadline for the 2024 ax year, the three most recent tax years are 2023. 2022 & 2021
