For I-129F you cannot upload anything to your case through the NVC. Bring whatever additional evidence you want to add to the case to the interview.

Thank you so much for the information. I heard many people said if there is no timeline at the time of I-129F submission, it is very likely that they will fail us and ask for more evidence instead looking at the evidence that we bring to the interview. Is that true?

It all depends on the Consular Officer conducting the interview. That's why, even though it is not required for the I-129F, I urge everyone who is going this route to front-load their petition with relationship evidence. I say this because the I-129F packet you send to USCIS gets sent to the embassy for the interview. In our case, we know for sure that the CO conducting Jaycel's interview was scanning through our I-129F packet(110 pages in total) because of the comments he was making and we believe this is why the interview only consisted of 5 basic questions and lasted approximately 3 minutes before he verbally approved her and the visa was issued 3 days later.

This is a Vietnam specific question.  Have a look here: Vietnam - VisaJourney.  There are several discussions about interview requirements there.

We sent about twenty pictures with the petition. We did not write a timeline. At the time we submitted the petition there were not a lot of evidence. However, after one and the half year, we have more evidence now. We had met 2 times in person before we submitted the petition. We have met 5 times so far. If the CO doesn’t look at the evidence we bring, then it is very unfair for us. We have more evidence now

Hi everyone,

My I-129F petition was transferred to NVC 3 week ago. My case was given a case number. When can I upload my relationship timeline (including pictures) to NVC website? Thank you so much

K-1s do not submit further documentation or evidence at the NVC stage like CR/IRs do.

HCMC is not the same as other. just bring your time and Family Tree with you.

we didn't have that and got a blue slip and we have to submitted these 2-things and 6-months later we got approved.

PS: we have tons of pictures/airlines tickets/hotel /vacation trips together..v...v...v they didn't ask to see anything at all.

asked : name/DOB/how we meet and hand out the Blue slip ... I really think the looked at the case before the interview. But no one can't answer this.

You weren't asked, somebody else may be asked. Typically, when consular officer or USCIS officer sees folder with evidence - they won't press too hard, as it's waste of time. People who come without evidence or unprepared suffer the most.

Thank you so much for the information. I will have those two documents ready before my fiancé interview. I just had my NVC case number last week. What do I need to prepare next?

Bring these 2-docs and all the evidence that you have and just hope for the best there is nothing you can do at this stage just relax.

Now you can start the DS-260 and wait for the package-3 which they will mail that to you by courier, when you get this you then can schedule for the interview this could be nightmare. (don't pay anyone to this you guy have to do this together).

Thank you for the info. Could you please tell me why scheduling for the interview could be nightmare? And why we have to do that together?

Nightmare because it does not have an open slot you have to keep checking,  . Do it together mean you login in US and she login in VN to check for the open slot.

But be careful  login too many time the system will lock you out for  72-hours.
