Hello Everyone,
I need some guidance and wanted to see what the best course of action would be.
I finished my masters in France and wanted to go to US to reward myself as a tourist which was my intention at the time and how i got in to US.
My plan was to stay for 3 months then go back to France. I am in US for 40 days now and for the past 20 days i have been in a relationship with a US Citizen. She is 39 years old single mom while i am 28 with no kids. We just discovered that she is pregnant so we started talking about marriage and i do want to marry her.

I have been reading online and apparently AOS can work, from what i understand my initial intent matters the most and it was just touristic nothing else.
Do we get married and start the paperwork ? I can afford to stay in US and wait for the process. I am a Turkish Citizen and she is from US born and raised.
Is it possible for me to get married so i can stay with her and the baby ?

Thank you for reading and i appreciate any help.

You can but you got some red flags in my opinion.

You've known her for three weeks and she is pregnant?  I don't mean to be rude but is the child yours?  Cos that's quite a rapid timeline.  Not impossible but very fast.

Did you know her before you travelled to the US?

How can you know, after just three weeks of dating, that marriage is the right decision?

DNA tests really should be mandatory

I mean, come on…. 🙄

Yes, you can go ahead and file. There are guides here that have the step-by-step instructions. Good luck.

Does she have a job and is she making enough to meet the income requirements?

Yes, but you are unable to work in any capacity until you receive the appropriate documentation.  This can take many months.  Are you prepared to be supported by your wife for 6-12 months?

Good luck

He may be, but the question is whether she is prepared to support... Otherwise OP may ask in few months whether adjusting under VAWA is a viable option.

OP: expect a difficult interview under new administration. Your case has some red flags in it. The proper way is to leave the US on time, develop relationship, visit each other few more times, and eventually marry and have US citizen sponsor you for GC via CR-1 visa.

Thank you everyone, yes i also see the red flags with it. It seems even though it is possible, its most likely not going to happen. I was considering marriage to be in baby's life but if i do end up getting denied it kills the whole purpose and it's not a risk i'm willing to take or have her go through that. Other kind of solution seems to be the most sensible thing to do ( removing an element from the equation i don't know if i'm allowed to use the actual word ).

If the relationship has a future i will follow the advice of OldUser.

Thank you for reading and helping out everyone.
