I am filling the DS160 today as requested by the embassy. I started working for a company a few months ago, but have been away on a leave of absence from the company. In the section where it state where are you currently working should I say I am currently still working there? The technical answer is yes because I signed a letter from the HR of the company that I will be away till I return, I am in regular communication with them updating them on when I will return back to work. on The DS-160 would I say I still work there or put the last date I worked and than say I am currently on disability leave or what ever term that is appropriate. In addition the part two of that is that it asks me how much I currently earn and my income has gone down since I have left the company so again would I use my old income which being regular there or put the new one since I have gone on leave. My intention is to be  fully transparent but I just don't know how to express it on the forms.

Hello everyone we applied for k1 we got put in Administrative processing which a lengthy unknown status could take months or years. I was wondering my Fiance does visit me still if he came on a visit and we got married and he just stayed would that be allowed? I he would be i guess entering under the pretense of a visit technically. I did speak with another couple that did that and was successful and got approved 7-8 months later, any thoughts or has any one been through same situation. We don't want to wait another 1.5-2 years waiting on the sideline with even being sent to AP even again once more from applying outside the country.

He cannot enter the country, using a B visa, with immigrant intent.  That is fraud.

He likely will have issues trying to visit at this point.  Also, don’t you see that whatever issue has put his application in AP will still exist when he files for another immigration benefit?

No, that would not be okay because he would try to enter with the intent to adjust status and he would be misrepresenting himself..

The fact that this other couple did this doesn’t make it the right way.
