Personally speaking I am glad my parents had it done to me.

Why?

It looks better (IMO and my wifes opinion), easier to keep it clean and from what I understand there are some "satisfaction" benefits for both myself and my wife. If I had the choice of going back to "natural" I would turn it down.

But... you wouldn't really have a basis for comparison would you? :blink:

i do have the basis for comparison.. and i have to agree with gary.. there's an improvement.. a lot..

It's not JUST cleanliness though. I think there is a little bit more to it then that, and of course, family tradition as you say. From a woman's perspective, I just think it's....nicer? haha To each her own I suppose.

Please read Waris Dirie's book or Ayan Hirsi Ali's books. Female mutilation includes the removal of the #######, as much as they can get. They definitely cannot have an orgasm, have painful periods since only a super small opening is left. Also, the person who performs this horrific procedure scratches off skin from the first 5cm of the ####### so that it will grow together. It is extremely barbaric and mostly performed by some "circumcision woman". In Somalia that mostly means the procedure happens somewhere in the desert with a piece of glass as surgery instrument.

Male circumcision is totally different from mutilation.

i got circumcized as an adult.. couldn't get circumcized as a baby because i had a stomach surgery when i was born..

I dunno - from my (uncut) perspective riding around loose like that I get the impression that guys would be walking around with permanent erections from the friction of their underpants, but I guess that doesn't happen.
