True.  It seems a serious matter that her staff closed the local office, didn't tell anyone, and are presumably still collecting their salaries as if all is normal.

This is why I lean against upper-age limits for governmental service.  Bidementia was senile when elected; Trump and Bernie Sanders are sharp as tacks; Kay Granger had to be institutionalized; there's early-onset dementia along with anything else that can happen at younger ages.  Not sure that one answer fits all.

I am in this woman's district! It explains why the phones in both her local office and her DC office goes straight to voice-mail when I have tried to contact her. 

 

What happened to "no taxation without representation"? Apparently I have not had any representation for almost 6 months now. Can I be exempt from federal tax for half of the year?

They are all collecting their salaries til January 3rd, 2025.  I don't know why they haven't let Greg Goldman go ahead and take over.

Dunno about the exemption, but you might contact a Federal judge to learn what the legal implications are.  It would be interesting to hear them.

I can read the comments on this piece, and I agree with those who say that her staff should be charged with fraud for continuing to collect paychecks and that her family is also at fault for not reporting anything.  The entire Texas delegation to the House also dropped the ball.  Comments?
