Hi,

I received notification on the USCIS website that a request for additional evidence has been sent to me. What is the additional evidence they are looking for? Thanks

Look under the documents and you will find the letter if you don't want to wait until the snail mail comes. Once you know what they want you can prepare it and once the real letter comes send it back as the instructions says.

Is this on the website in my account profile? Thanks

Haven't used the website in a while. It used to be next to Case status , Case history, Documents when you look at the petition on my.uscis.gov

When I filed my I-129F for Jaycel, the online account they allow you to have for that did not include a documents tab. When I got an RFE, I had to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

I believe the documents tab is only for CR/IR cases.   At least, it used to be, maybe it’s changed.

I think you're right because when Jaycel got her Online Access Code when we filed her I-485 and she signed up and added her case number, it has a documents tab

Thank you. Last question on this topic. Is it common to receive a RFE for the form 129F?

I don't know how common it is but there's lots of questions here in VJ forums so I would imagine it happens quite often. We got an RFE on our I-129F petition. We gave them exactly what they asked for and they approved us 3 days after they received our RFE response. When the RFE comes, post it here with the personal information blacked out and we will try to help you as best we can :)

Yes, very.  Most of the time it is an omission - a question was missed or a box not checked.  Easy fix - just make sure you address whatever the issue is precisely as requested in the letter.
