A car plowed into a crowd of shoppers at a busy German Christmas market on Friday evening, killing two people and injuring at least 68 in a suspected deliberate attack.

An extensive police operation is underway following the attack at the market in the German city of Magdeburg that happened at around 7 p.m. local time.

A young child is among the dead, Saxony-Anhalt state governor Reiner Haseloff confirmed.

Another Islamic terror attack on a European Christmas market

Since the early 2000s, whenever there was a terrorist attack, a meme circulated showing a South Park newscaster saying some variation of "...and it's Islam."  The point, of course, was that no matter how the media tried to hide it, the greater likelihood was that the attacker was Muslim.

 

What's interesting about today's mass terror attack on a German Christmas market is that the German authorities immediately announced that it was an Islamic terrorist attack.  Maybe Europeans are finally realizing that the viper they've nursed at their bosom needs to be expelled.

Why the Media Spin on the German Christmas Market Attack Can't Be Trusted

 

What the establishment media wants us to believe about any given event is usually more indicative of the media's own worldview than it is of the actual facts on the ground, and the vehicular attack on a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany on Friday is no exception.  In fact, the media spin is even more pernicious than usual on this one.

The claim that's going around is that the attacker, a Saudi doctor named Taleb al-Abdulmohsen who has lived in Germany for years, is an ex-Muslim who hated Islam and was enraged at German authorities for letting so many Muslims into the country.  The Washington Post reported that Abdulmohsen "had expressed anti-Islam views and described himself as a Saudi dissident."   The Wall Street Journal said that he was "a well-known anti-Islam activist who seems to have felt increasingly persecuted by Germany."  The New York Post likewise called him an "anti-Islam activist."

Others, however, presented numerous facts that don't fit the media spin.  Maral Salmassi, who calls herself a "politically incorrect, Iranian/German entrepreneur and producer," wrote:  [...]
