Petition processing times

 Wife in Kuwait, filed petition on December 2023.  Progress now says on the “Case decision” status just a week ago after being on the “Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action” for about a year.  How much longer for the decision?

What waiver was filed? If I understand your question you filed an I-130 for your wife in December 2023, which if that is the case then I would say you're within a 2-3 month range of having a decision made on that. From there would be the next round of fees, paperwork, and preparing for interview.
