IR2 Visa Expedited by USEM

Hi! Why did the USEM in Manila suddenly Expedited the IR2 of my daughter even though we don't file for it. Also, what will be the process of it because I read that you can select your own schedule when your case is on 'Ready' status. Thank you!

The embassy in Manila over the last few months has been doing mass expedites of immigrant visas in order to help clear some of the backlog for interviews. They will expedite your case wether or not you requested it. When you have been expedited, you are required to schedule the interview yourself on their online scheduling portal once it shows "Ready".

Can you send me a link or tell me where to find the online portal. My sons got split up and one of them got am expedite Nov 1, but we haven't been able to get him scheduled. The other son who didn't get one has been scheduled for January 6. We keep calling and emailing, and chatting with the people at embassy USdocs, and congressman, but no one has helped us. If you have a link that would be the best Christmas gift ever. Thank you!
