Nowhere during the immigration process does it explicitly ask if you’ve cheated on university exams.   However, honestly and the truth are critical to your success from initial petition to U.S. citizenship.   So, it’s best to be honest throughout this entire process.

Should I just write I was a student at that school and not  indicate that I was discontinued? Or should I write I was a student there and was discontinued?

@esiiI got your PM but I'm going to answer here so that anyone reading this thread can benefit from the answer.

When we filed the I-129F for Jaycel, she was still completing her college degree and had never had a job. In the place for "Your Beneficiary's Employment History" we put "Not Applicable - College Student" and we had no trouble.

From what I recall, you do not need to provide beneficiary education history, only address and employment. If you have worked as a freelancer, this is self employment so you should put the date you started doing that (an estimate if you can't recall an exact date) and when you finished (in the first box used for current employment if it is still ongoing).
