Hi there!

Filling out your timeline really helps the community help you so please do it when you have time.

If ceac shows application received, it means that the embassy has the petition. They should now send the beneficiary (im assuming you) further instructions.

other members on this forum with more experience on your embassy may have more info :)

No, I do not know anything about it, and I answered your question incorrectly because you hadn't filled out your timeline.
My only guess is that it's still processing and you have to wait.

I received an email to send passport next day after submitting documents but that email was automated types we are glad to inform u we're are ready for the further processing of your case before final review by the consular submit passport if not submitted already. Then after sending passport two weeks later my status changed to Ready and 4 days later on 18th December it changed to nonimmigrant Application Received

chances are they are still processing your visa

if they found no issues with whatever documents were requested from you they may just be in the process of further visa processing

or just printing the visa in general!

usually asking for your passport (automated email or not) is a better sign than any

don't worry too much, you will just have to keep waiting

your CEAC status will update to "issued" if they don't have any problems with your case

This happened to us - For the K-1 visa, in the process from NVC to Embassy to Interview, the status in CEAC will say "Immigrant Visa" because for the paperwork needed and the medical needed it is treated like an immigrant visa. Once the Consular Officer approves it at the interview, since it is technically a Non-Immigrant visa, they have to change the status to "Non-Immigrant Visa" and "Application Received" when they pass it to the Non-Immigrant Visa Section to actually process and print the visa. Do not worry, we went through this same thing and a day or two after that happened, our status changed to "Issued". My guess is it will show an updated status very soon.

They asked for my fiancé's US divorce certificate which she didn't have she only had decree because our case was processed on Pakistani divorce because her marriage took place in Pakistan not in US so our lawyer wrote a draft that she doesn't have US divorce and my medical after submitting it this what happened next

The status being changed to "Non-Immigrant Visa" and "Application Received" are the normal updates as a K-1 Visa is being processed by the embassy.

It means that they are processing the application.... can't say wether it's positive or negative as it's still being processed and no one can predict what the embassy will do. Especially Pakistan embassy is known for extended Administrative Processing delays.
