then south western BC would be perfect for you, hardly any snow... maybe a few days a year and then it melts within a day or two.. you just would have to get used to the rain... it rains a lot during the winter months....

Yes... the winter months being September - May

LOL

It's hot here in Utah too. Been in the triple digits for 3 months now! Buit... I Love it!!!

My Husband always puts the AC on while were having dinner and I'm always freezing! I usually go put a sweater on as he rolls his eyes! He thinks I'm strange. But when my little comes to visit, she doesn't like the AC on either. In fact, as soon as my hubby leaves for work we turn it off!

I'm still wearing light sweaters even though its in the 100's. Of course anything below 75 degrees and I start to freeze. I used to hike all over Arizona in the middle of summer with my jeans on and my black shirt so the heat is nothing, it's just the cold that I can't handle either. I do run my A/C in both the cars for about 5 mins every year just to circulate them. Never once felt the need to use them no matter where or what desert I'm driving through. I'm just dreading the fact my most hated season is comming up, Fall. Ewwwww, time to get my winter jacket out soon...

I'll take the Texas heat any day over Canada's tempatures,Me and the cold do not get along AT ALL,

I hate the snow and I hate the cold,,the hotter the better is my motto!

Bad part is I might have to spend another friggin winter here in Canada before all this gets done with,,I stay at my sisters, and her house is as old as the hills and is like a freezer in the winter, but of course she is goin through the change with the hot flashes and all she thinks it's great,HA! NOT ME!!

I HATE IT, I want to go home to Texas!!!!! :crying:

I just got back from vacation at the brother-in-laws. They live in Charlotte and then we headed down to South Carolina to a beach house. Nice time to be there in the middle of a heat wave. At the resort they actually closed the golf course at noon b/c the heat index was 120 F degrees. When we got back to Charlotte the temp was reading 106 F. I have never been so glad to be back in NoDak and a breezy 65 F. Oh, and to top it all off we found out that the day we were leaving that there was 2 shark attacks in the area. I guess it could have been worse and been in the middle of a hurricane. lol

Shark attacks...You must have been on Isle of Palms. :) I love that place -- we were there the weekend before the attacks. But yes, it's been dangerously hot in South Carolina, especially because of the humidity. It hit 106 in Columbia last week, not counting the heat index. I handle it by taking an aspirin a day (thins the blood), staying somewhere air-conditioned, and not leaving work for lunch. We should finally get a break in mid-September. July through September is difficult at times, but the weather the rest of the year is wonderful.

We stayed at the Debordieu Colony which is near Georgetown. So, we probably were pretty far away. We drove by Ise of the Palms one day when we went to Charleston. I think that would be a cool place to stay next time. Love that it's so close to Charleston...Charleston is such a cool city. I think we were travelling through Columbia that day it hit 106. When we got into Charlotte the temp was 106 and it was definately the hottest day yet.

Gosh. We were in Myrtle Beach that day. It was hot. Then a cool front moved in and we got hit by a really scary storm. We were scrambling to get back to my in-laws' place because a tornado had been spotted. You could hear the storm like a freight train. It was crazy.
