I-131A Timeline?? Lost greencard and need to apply and recieve foil but no clue how long this to expect.

Hi I was in an accident and lost my green card on the way out from the US. After coming to myself I realised this and now need to get back in the US, so I need to apply for this boarding foil.

 

I'm currently in Denmark and ready to file the I-131A, but how long from paying the fee online to expect my appointment? I have found no place where anyone writes this and calling the embassy they cant give me an estimate either. On top of that its almost christmas so harder to actually estimate and go there...

It’s usually pretty quick as they know that people may need to get back urgently. They’ll just check that you have maintained your LPR status and that everything is in prefer (i.e. you’ve paid fee etc) and then an interview will be scheduled. Can’t speak for the Copenhagen embassy but London was only 2 days, and as Copenhagen is quoting only 1 day wait for non-immigrant visas yours should be super quick. Make sure you take plenty of proof of your life in the US with you.
