They cleared my case after 18 months from AP and even requested me few documents too. Everything was going fine and I booked my medical exam too but today they said we have received your documents but your case is still in AP. Does anyone have any idea that why is this happening?

It is a first time I see such an event in this forum! It's unusual! How long it took between sending passport request+medical exam email and the time they told you your case is still in AP?

Sorry to hear this. Although I have not seen such a case before, I have seen many odd scenarios here in this forum. So, I am not surprised. It's a very inconsistence practice there. I suggest you keep bugging them and pointing out that it was them who told you it was over. Ask them to check with the Visa Officer...

This is completely normal. When it says AP that includes everything they are doing to your case up until they hit the issue button. Don't worry about it.

Hello everyone, where can I check the status of the greencard? I crossed the border to activate my visa 2 weeks ago and returned back to Canada to wrap things up. I checked the site https://egov.uscis.gov but its asking for a receipt number which i don't have.

You should have it, from when you paid the fee? That’s the receipt number you need.
