I recently received a request for new medical and passport documentation. I wanted to clarify if the Covid vaccine is required for the new medical exam, considering I haven’t had it in the past 12 months. Additionally, is the flu vaccine mandatory during this period? I’m asking because I’m not planning to get the Covid vaccine for myself or my children.

The flu shot is required during cold and flu season, covid shot is not longer required.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, it seems the covid Vaccine is not required for people with adjustment of status who are inside US.

For immigrant outside US the requirement is still effective.

By the way anyone know how much time do we have to submit new medical and passport.

Can we wait few months to see if vaccine requirements are changed. Since i am not in hurry to get it done

Thanks

Hi, sorry, I am not answering your question, but have a question for you. Where you put in AP? If yes, how long after you submitted DS-5535 did you receive your request for passport (i.e., how long did the AP take)?

Correct.  Covid vaccines are not required for AOS, but are for consular processing.
