Hello Everyone, My status Changed from Issued to Refused. My case was approved (status = issued) on Jan 2 and then back to Refused on Jan 9. Does anyone experienced this before:

Here are my high level timelines

Interviewed at Montreal for Eb2 category- March 2024 - Put to AP

Received request for 2nd Medical & Passport in Oct 2024

Sent my medical and Passport end on November 2024

Few updates on the files after that

Status changed to Issued on Jan 2

Waiting for tracking number and checked the status on CEAC again today.

It is back to Refused on Jan 9

Does anyone knows any similar case or anything like this happened to anyone before ?

Hello Everyone, Ref my previous post, it looks like it was a technical Glitch, My status changed back to Issued the very next day, I received my passports and crossed the border by land to activate my visa. The whole process at POE took not more than 25-30 mins. Few basic questions and then passports were stamped.

As I had previously issued SSN's and already arranged a house to rent in USA, so with new Visa, SSN and Rental lease, opened the bank account as well.

Two more weeks and I move to USA. A very long journey, finally ended with a new start.  Good luck to everyone !!

Hello Every one, My passport and photos were delivered on December 18, 2024. But I received the below response from Consulate!!!

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry.
We acknowledge receipt of your medical exam. However, we have not yet received the other requested documents.
All mail directed to the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal is received at an offsite mail processing facility. It takes additional time before the mail actually reaches the Visa Unit. If applicants do not send the mail using our courier service, longer mail processing delays may be expected. Once additional documents are received, an adjudicating Consular officer will review the case taking into consideration the additional evidence provided. As soon as the review is complete, the Visa Unit will provide you with further details regarding the status of the visa application.

Hi Adam,
Did you get a reply and instructions from consulate about Becoming Canadian citizen and getting Canadian passport?
My question is that you sent your home country old passport for visa or Canadian passport? On which passport they will stamp US immigration visa, previous home country passport or new Canadian passport who recently became Canadian citizen. Please reply. thanks

Hi Everyone. I got ISSUED today. Hoooraaa

How long does it take to receive the tracking number?

My Status was changed to "Issued" today morning but it was returned back to "Refused" a few hours later. Does anybody have an experience like this? Did they put me back in AP?

My Status was changed to "Issued" yesterday morning but it was returned back to "Refused" a few hours later. Does anybody have an experience like this? Does it mean the officer might change his decision?
