So I've finished the application for our fiance visa, but there are some blanks that's wouldn't let me type for some reason. Is it okay to write in black ink and type on the same application? I have all the questions answered, I just need to write N/A on all the blanks spaces that don't apply to her, or I. Is this okay?

Yes, I wrote in N/A with black ink for places I couldn't type. Petition was approved.

Thank you for this information! I've been so stressed and worried about the situation. Because all I could find on this topic was people discussing it four years ago, and I was worried about how much could change in four years.

. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks, “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None” unless otherwise directed.
