Roc i751 for my 2 years green card

I entered usa on December 2023 with a cr1 Visa and I was told at the point of entry by immigration guy to file for roc on my cr1 one year after entry but I have been reading a lot online that I am supposed to remove the condition in 2025 instead of 2024 as was told. My card expires in December 2025.

Please I need help in the right step to follow.  thank you for your help

You will need to file the I751 within 90 days of when your GC expires.  Do not file even one day early, so count back 90 days from the expiration date on your GC.  Now this assumes you are still married, if not, you can file anytime requesting a divorce waiver.

 

After you file the I751, USCIS will send you a 48 month extension letter effectively extending the validity of your expired GC for that period, so if you do any international travel, you will need both the expired GC and extension letter to re-enter the U.S.

Thanks so much for this information,  it means the guy at my point of entry gave me wrong information
