Any VJ Admins - I have a question about my ability to post attachments

Any site admins - Is there a reason that when I post now, if I want to include an attachment (Screenshot, etc.) it says "Max total size: 4.72kB"? It basically means I can't add attachment to any of my posts. I would add a screenshot to show you what it says but..... 😁

I've used smallpdf.com to reduce sizes of many attachments of all kinds.  Wish I'd known about it earlier, because my total allotted attachment space here is maxxed out.

Dang… I didn’t know there was a total allotted. Thank you for the heads up about smallpdf, I’ve never heard of that before

I hadn't, either, until someone on here recommended it to me years ago.   

I use it surprisingly more often than I'd expected.

It's cheaper to pay the yearly fee rather than the monthly.

You can also delete the old attachments to free up space.

How do I do that? I went back to one of my old posts with an attachment and don't see how to delete the attachment 🤷‍♂️

Go to your profile and look for attachments.

Alternatively, you can also upload the file elsewhere and link to it. 
For images, https://imgur.com/ and https://imgbb.com/ are working smoothly.

I can see if we can increase the storage limit.  In short, we try to keep attached files for each account below a certain size limit (total of all attached files).

It's understandable. If you can increase it that would be great but if not, I can just delete older attachments if I want to share something in the future  Appreciate everyone's responses!
