Hey everyone! Thanks for reading and helping ahead of time.

I flew in the US under a K1 visa and we wanted to submit my status adjustment next week (we have our marriage license/certificate already). However I came across a video that said that effective December 2nd, it is required to file your medical exam form (unsure about the numbers, Im sorry) along with your AOS form. So my issue is that the airport security took my sealed envelope and I currently dont possess a certified copy. I assume they sent it forward to the USCIS so they should have it?

But my main question would be do I need another medical exam in the US if I was missing vaccines at my initial medical exam in my country? I am missing only a tetanus and a covid shot (plus the flu vaccine if its needed). I was also missing the hepatitis A and B vaccine but I picked it up before I flew into the country.

should i get another medical exam where i get all the missing vaccines or should I file my AOS first?

How much are these medical exams with vaccines usually?

im sorry if this sounds confusing, to be fair I am confused myself too and was looking for some help/input.

Yes, you'll need another medical if you are missing some vaccinations. They can be administered during the exam.

Without I-693, your I-485 will be rejected.

So I should go for the medical exam first and only after I get my form I should apply for status adjustment?

Yes, you cannot send AOS packet without medical anymore.

Also one more question (thank you so much for everything so far!); do I need the entire medical exam done again or are the vaccines just enough? Since I had a full exam done in my country and was just missing vaccines.

This is also unrelated but Im curious: my visa will expire in January, is that an issue? I think the embassy in Hungary told me it is not but I wouldnt be surprised if it changed in the meantime. Because I know USCIS will take a few months to get back to me with the AOS process so I just wanna make sure it wont be a legal trouble.

Technically only the vaccination part but many doctors will only do the full exam leaving you no choice. So maybe try calling around and asking if they will do the vaccine part only. This is why we strongly advise to get all the vaccines at the K1 medical if possible.

Properly filed I-485 grants you an authorized stay while it’s being adjudicated.

Such a video would be for those who are not K1s. K1s complete their medical abroad if done properly.

You never would have. Your only have personal copy of your DS3025 Vaccination Record.

Yes. But you'll still have a DS3025 copy for yourself. If you don't, contact your Panel Physician. They are legally required to give you a copy.

Explain "missing".

1. If your DS3025 is MARKED complete and IS complete, you don't need to do anything else. You'll have to carefully examine yours.

2. Understand that only one dose of any series is required. You do not have to complete the series FOR immigration. It is a personal choice to.

3. Ensure you know what a blanket waiver is. They will be listed on your DS3025 in the right columns and explained on the bottom right.

They exempt from having to get a vaccination for different SIMPLE reasons like not available in your country, not need for YOUR age, not in season etc.

Do the research for all of this as we cannot answer any of this for your particular situation.

Are you really missing anything? Are there waivers listed for any of these?

Is your form marked complete???

If your DS3025 is EITHER MARKED as not complete or isn't complete, you'll need to redo your medical. You cannot file I485 at this time without a complete DS3025 so your need to redo your medical and have a I693 filled out.

Up to $1k but you'll have to call around. That's why K1s complete their medical abroad ONCE.

This is a common issue. If you use the search bar to research DS3025s you'll gather some knowledge as it's posted about weekly if not every few days.

Only you'll know what your DS3025 says.

Knowing if it's actually complete will have to be what you understand AND determine yourself by looking at it.

*We answer this question all the time, so while everyone is correct in saying you can't move forward without a complete medical, and they are right, it's easier to say just go get one. But it's much more helpful and cheaper FOR YOU to learn and understand that you may not need one. Your confusion is apparent by you saying you need all this and that. Do you really?

Read through all the DS3025 posts and review your own DS3025 and you may find you do not.
