hello to all VJ!

I have been reading this site for quite a month now and only register recently.

i would like to ask about the police clearance. Do the US embassy check the imigration if you been out of the country since you were 16 years old?

there are countries that require documents as proof that you stayed there longer than 6 months. But what if you had no documents kept anymore? Not even an old passport. we're still able to apply PC?

Hope someone answeres, and thank you..

The best place to start would be to contact the respective consulate or embassy of the place(s) you lived for over 6 months. They should be able to advise you on how to go about the process.

Claudeth had to get a clearance from Germany and the German embassy was very helpful. Ended up that her Aunt that lives in Germany was able to do it for us.
