Hello all. My parents came to US on tourist visa and I applied for their AOS package on Nov 20th. CC authorisation form was submitted for payment. It has been more than 3 weeks no update from USCIS and my CC has not been charged as well? Is this normal? I also emailed lockbox on Monday but no response as of today. What should I do?

PS: I am US citizen

It is normal. It can take 8-10 weeks to get receipt for filing a new case.

If we could go back in time, I'd recommend using personal check for payment. There's way too many reports on VJ about charges on credit cards getting flagged as fradulent and the entire packet gets returned...

it is a little early for notice to come so keep the receipt to show AOS package was mailed

what date did they enter US? how long did CBP give them to stay on the tourist visa?

It's a 6 month stay visa. I don't mind them taking time as long as it is a normal process. I hope there won't be an issue because i heard if they reject the forms, they mail it within a week after receiving them

They don't even know the contents of packet. They cannot reject or accept something they haven't seen yet. And it takes them weeks just to see it. The packet is most likely sitting in a large room with thousands of other packets as we speak.

Hi friends. So i received my parents rejected I765 AND I131 forms. On the rejection notice it says fees has not been submitted with AOS package. I am confused i submitted them with I485. Isn't I765 and i131  included with I485 fees?

No. They used to be fee free when submitted with AOS, but this stopped earlier this year .. April?
