December AOS K-1 for New Yorker

He Entered to JFK Oct-18 , Got married at the courthouse Nov-7 , wedding Nov-24 , submit Only I-485 (not all the other forms) on Dec-4 To Chicago lock box "elgin, IL 60124-7700" so confused about where to send the package ( for me anyway), today Dec-11 the check cashed.

Let see how thing move from here. !! just want to share the lock box location for New Yorker and time frame for December-2024  AOS K-1.

Each month, a VJ User creates a thread for ALL K1 AOS filers so they can collaborate, ask the normal basic, repetitive questions and can learn from each other. Such a thread would not be limited to users who are only being processed at a single local field office (ie. NYC as you have limited this post to).

 

To help yourself best, you can:

1. Join the December 2024 thread likely already created for ALL K1 AOSers by one of your peers (you'll have to use the search bar to search for it).

2. Or if one has not been created, you can create it yourself. 

 

My point is you have limited this post to only the NYC LFO so you may have absolutely no one to collaborate with. 

The monthly K1 AOS filer thread will have everyone in the US (who wants to join it) who filed AOS in December not just NYC.

So it's up to you if you want interaction or support from your peers or not. Or if you're just posting to post.

Received NOA1 in the mail Monday Dec-16 Posted date Dec-12. set up the account, next is waiting for biometric appointment.

So yesterday We got 1-more NOA said : that they are processing the case and will make an appointment for biometric if required.

(I'm sure we needed) I guess 1-notice gave the online access code and 3-days later notice for Receipt of the application.

Yes it seems they send them separately now. Jaycel got an account acceptance notice in the mail with her online access code and then like 4 or 5 days later she got her NOA1s for the I-485 & I-765

Yes sadly..... Status still sitting at "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent".  My wife just wants to be able to work and it's driving her crazy to see movement on over 90% of the cases in our IOE receipt block but absolutely nothing done on her application

This is a shot of the stats in our receipt block.... we are one of only 729 remaining who have had no action taken on their case since receipt.

Our application is at the National Benefits Center now, out of the lockbox which is where all receipts with an IOE go. The lockbox in Phoenix processed us quickly

This is too much to follow for me , lock box-center..ect.  My head hurt LOL.

I'm just gonna wait until they tell me what to do next, since we can't control what is going on anyway.

The hard part is over, my partner is with me, we just going to enjoint our time together. We just can't leave the country until then.
