My question regarding Joint Mortgage or lease copy -

My wife purchased the house before our marriage with the help of my father in law. My father in law is the co-sponsor of the mortgage.

So I don't have my name on the mortgage but we are paying the payments from our joint bank accounts every month for mortgage and all the utilities.

Should I write any cover letter regarding mortgage ? or above listed documents is good enough to proof of bona fide marriage? I don't want to get RFE so trying to make sure I submit everything together.

Another question I have, do I have to submit my previous marriage divorce decree?

I have son from my previous marriage and She has a son with previous relationship. Do I have to submit Birth certificates of my son and step son?

We are filling jointly.

Thank you so much for your cordial response.

Yes downloaded from IRS website. Thanks for your response. I appreciate the feedback

I think your evidence looks pretty good. I would make sure your driver's licenses show you both living at the same address. Good luck.

Do write a cover letter explaining how you do your mortgage.  That way, the officer reviewing does not have to guess at anything.

Just say what you told us above:

"My wife purchased the house before our marriage with the help of my father in law. My father in law is the co-sponsor of the mortgage.

So I don't have my name on the mortgage but we are paying the payments from our joint bank accounts every month for mortgage and all the utilities."

Best of luck on your journey!

The biometric fee is included in filing fee for I-751. You only pay $750

Fillig fee $750

In memo : I-751 Application fee anything else?
