As many of you may know, facebook removed the ability to view your call history and unfortunately for the entire length of our relationship we have been using facebook messenger to communicate via video calls. It never occurred to us that we may need to one day have access to our call logs. I tried to download the messages and view them that way but for some reason our conversation only spans 3 days when we first started communicating on messenger from may 12th to may 15th. I am starting to panic as we don't really have a way to provide our video call history? Any advice?

We had 16 months virtual before we met and I included exactly zero pieces of evidence of this. No phone logs no emails or chat screenshots etc. that said we had 4 visits of 2or so weeks plus three border town weekend meet ups in before we even filed. The length varied but the time spent together was much more important for proof.

I had to research your posts to learn which consulate she'd be interviewing at.

In short, Manila hands out K-1 visas like candy, so your answer is No.

The answer for someone interviewing somewhere else may be a strong Yes.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I can see every conversation my wife and I have had via FB messenger from today stretching as far back as I can scroll.  I got tired of scrolling at May 2023.  You could always just show snapshots of the dates of your conversations throughout your relationship.

We didn't include any evidence of call logs, only texts (and even then they only spanned across the previous 4 to 6 months, despite being in a relationship for ~5 years at time of filing).

As others note, you should be focusing on evidencing physical time together over anything else.

Where in the I-129f instructions does it say anything about including call / chat history / text messages?  I'm quite curious why this question keeps showing up in various places.

The I-129f doesn't ask for any of this, and neither do any of the other forms.

To prove bonafide relationship, we included some pictures of us together and air travel receipts from some of my trips to Thailand. But the most-important documents (in my opinion) were our letters of "Intent to Marry", which were basically:
"I Stook, and Sweet Thai Lady met on <date> and most-recently spent time together on <date within 2 years of application>.  Between those dates, we travelled together numerous times....   extremely happy to have met each other....blah blah.  We fully intent to get married within 90 days of her arrival within the United States."

Signed,

Mr Stook"

It doesn't explicitly state that but I see many people in DIY including call logs as proof of ongoing relationship after meeting.

I don't think it can hurt anything, but it's also not necessary. Chat logs can be forged pretty easily, so don't hold much weight.
