The USCIS received my petition on October 11 and as of December 7th (today), the status on the USCIS website is still "Case Was Received" -- this is the same as what it was on October 11th. I've heard others say the application should be transferred to a processing center within a few weeks to a month from the Dallas lockbox. I live in CA so mine should be sent to the CA processing center - how do I know if it was transferred over yet or not?

Anyone else submit their application around the same time as me? If so, mind sharing what your application status is?

I am in the same boat right now, but mine only yesterday turned to "received"- I was in assumption that I will see more info on my NOA1 if it was actually accepted or rejected just from the initial look. But, my $675 fee was already charged to my credit card so I am assuming it is actually "received" and going to the appropriate service center (seems like CSC per my receipt number starting with WAC) for processing. I guess we are just now waiting on an NOA2 or RFE at this point, to answer your question.

California receives most K1's to serve not because u live in California / i am in TN and that office had mine

If u were able to check your case,  you must have a case number meaning its in hands of service center  and now u wait and wait
