I have been looking around the internet trying to find some way of watching English TV, i must admit i miss the soaps like Eastenders, Emmerdale and Coronation street, also now the Football season is about to start i would also like to watch Match of the Day.

I have found a site that you have to check out, you can watch BBC1 BBC2 BBC3 ITV CH4 CH5 E4 SKY1 UKGOLD so please go to my web page that i created just for this reason, all it is is two page site, page 1 is a link too the British TV site with a seven day free trial, i tried it and its spot on, what do you have to loose.

Page 2 is links to skysports.com, Eastenders, corry etc, just something ive been doing to keep me busy while i wait for my AOS to come through.

yeh i know it's expensive, im a soap addict, sad i know being a male 38 but i have to have it cos i miss british tv.

now the football season has started i want to watch "match of the day" too and also "when Im a Celebraty" starts in about sept/oct i want to watch that too

Im just letting people know its out there and let them decide, i wish it was cheeper though too

I can let you know how to watch English Premiership games for free on the net.

You can get all the soaps, reality TV, some really great programmes, and all that gumpf (including footie) on UKNova for free (plus a small donation if you are feeling generous). I sent you a PM about it ages ago when you were worried about your soaps. I can't imagine why you'd want to spend $45 a month on it, but it sounds like you really are homesick! Home it improves soon.

i tried uknova dut they only let so many people in at once, you try to sign up but nothing happens, i know lots of people that have tried to sign up to uknova but just dont work, im not home sick at all, i just miss british tv, oh and watching barnet football club

My hubby loves Futbol....We have direct tv and you can watch English Leagues on Fox Soccer Channal and Setanta Sports. Otherwise they might have those channals on digital cable.

I do have the Fox Soccer Channel, so i do see a lot of premier leauge games, i was just saying that i did miss some other shows back home that we dont get here, at least Top Gear is coming to BBC America soon, hopefully BBC America will start to show better british tv than the rubbish they show now.

I have Gol Tv, Fsc. sentanta and FSE, but this is the best program for TRUE British soap addicks.

I have my MIL staying with me and she misses Emerdale, Corrie street and Casualty, she was able to watch them all today.

Yes Motd will be a bonus, especially now Chelsea have put themselves where they truly belong, atop the Epl.

Its a great site what with the differant streeming times, you get all you need in the way of British tv.

I know it seems a little expensive but if they add to it which they seem to be doing then maybe it will be worth everyone getting who misses British TV, thats why i posted this on visa journey.

Did you try the weeks free view ?

Thats good because they dont ask you for credit details, some sites seem to be a con, but this one is cool and i would recomend it to anyone.

I became a Top Gear addict when I was in Britain and since the original episodes weren't broadcast until BBC America finally realized we wanted to see it, I managed to acquire the entire collection of the current format from Series 1 through Series 9. If anybody's looking for a particular episode, drop me a line and I'd be more than happy to upload it somewheres for your viewing pleasure.

UKNova is the best...i wouldnt be without that site, i signed up about 7 weeks ago, had no problems at all.
