Hi everyone,

I am the petitioner, my now husband is here on a K1 visa.  I have a few questions about the next steps...

1) Does anyone know if it is possible to file both the i-765 and i-485 together?

2) What the actual total cost is for BOTH forms?  I have tried contacting USCIS and they do not give me a straight answer on this.

3) As a K1 visa beneficiary is it possible to file the i-765 online? If so, what is the eligibility category we should file under?

For whatever reason, USCIS does not give me any proper answers on this.

Thank you all in advance!

Yes, this is the preferred way to do it. This way you pay the discounted fee on the I-765 for filing concurrently.

The I-485 is $1,440 and the I-765 is $260 when it is filed concurrently with the I-485. Make sure you pay for each form separately.

If you are filing concurrently with the I-485 to get the discounted rate, it should be filed on paper and submitted in the same envelope as the I-485

Also, to OP, you may want to also file I-131 with I-485 on paper and definitely I-693! Without medicals, your I-485 will be rejected.

They are a K-1 Visa holder so they should just be able to include a copy of their DS-3025 as proof of medical exam abroad

Thank you all for the information.  Just to be clear we should submit 2 separate G-1450 forms for the credit card payment along with the 2 forms we are filing.

Also, please forgive my silly questions but the DS-3025 is just the vaccination record is that correct? No other proof of medical is necessary if we submit that record?

Thank you all again!

I would HIGHLY recommend paying by checks as many credit card companies flag USCIS transactions as fraud and USCIS will not resubmit the charge and they will reject your application. And yes the DS-3025 is the record of vaccinations that you got at your medical. Send them a copy with your I-485

If you can avoid paying with credit card, I'd rather pay with personal check or money order.

Too many stories of cards flagging charges as fradulent and packet is rejected...

If I understand correctly, you only need one G-1450 if filing everything together.
