Me and my wife (a US citizen) are at the finish line of filing the form I-130, but a section of the I-130a is bugging me. We are filing from my home country as she is currently living here with me, and will go through consular processing.

Under address history, I am unsure whether to add the address I was staying at when visiting my then girlfriend in 2022/2023.

I came there on a B2 visa, and stayed with her for 4 months in 2022 and then also 4 months in 2023. During my stay, I mostly stayed at her apartment near her college, and also spent some time with her at her Dad's house.

Would this address count as my physical address, even though I never had it as a mailing address, on any official documents, as well as not being on a lease or paying rent. Through all this time my official and mailing address was my home back in Slovenia.

I do not want to ommit the address if it should be there, but I'm also worried about putting it in so that it wouldn't look bad (i was there legally, but having an "address" while there on a tourist vise sounds like it could look bad)

Is it better to just add the address to be safe? We mention my stay there many times throughout the application, as well as images, so it's not like we're hiding it.

If you physically lived at that address then you should include it in your physical address history wether you had it as a mailing address or not. Don't leave anything out.
