Job titles (trying to avoid administrative processing)

Hello, my husband (US citizen) and I are going through the CR-1 process and have already submitted our petition. It was filed by a legal representative who didn't know much about the risks of administrative processing. My husband worked as a DevOps Engineer and an Architecture Analyst, and these are the titles the lawyer put in our I-130 form in my husband's employment history.

In order to avoid administrative processing, I would like to report typographical errors and change his job titles. My questions are, a) is this safe? b) which titles shall we use instead?

Thank you in advance for your help!!!

They'll do background checks (including his LinkedIn profile if he has one), you can tweak it a bit but must be truthful and his job title has to reflect his actual job.

What significance has your husbands job to do with your case?

You are using a notario ?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I see no reason to change the job titles of the US citizen.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The USC's jobs are not a big impact on the length of the inevitable (yes everyone goes through it, the only differences are the length of time) AP/refusal period.  The titles you mentioned are fairly standard in the engineering arenas, so not sure of your worry.  As to typos on the I130, you can correct those at the interview.

Good Luck!
