How should I respond to the question on the N-400 online application form which asks “are you supporting for your child ?"

I have completed 9 years of residency in the USA on a green card and am now planning to apply for citizenship. I have started filling out the online N-400 (US naturalization) application form, but I have encountered a dilemma regarding the question under family/child information. It asks, "Are you providing support for your child?" Whether I answer yes or no, the application prompts me to provide evidence for child and spousal support. My wife and son are staying with me, and my wife is green card holder and son is US born citizen. Someone mentioned that this requirement applies only in cases of divorce. Should I answer Yes or No in my case? I would greatly appreciate your input and guidance on how to proceed further.

Well yes, of course you'll list your child - as a parent you are providing support. Put a note in there that the child is also a USC.
