I-864 household calculator buggy

Hi everyone,

 

Filling out the affidavit of support form right now but the household size section (part 5, item 1) doesn't let me type in the number of persons being sponsored. And therefore the total household size is stuck at 1, can't change that either. I tried other PDF readers and it still won't work properly. Any advice?

before u submit it online , print it out ,  write in correct #'s ,  scan and save and submit to CEAC

OP is doing adjustment of status not consular professing.

you’re probably not inputting the numbers correctly. It would be helpful to see how you’re trying to fill it out.

I had the same issue. I just handwrite the numbers and in the section where there's additional information I explained my household size of 3, me my wife and us citizen daughter. I explained the form wouldn't let me edit

I solved it! I was using a mac and it didn’t have adobe reader. I installed adobe and redownloded the form and it all worked.

If you are using MS Edge there is a bug on that form and it won't show what you need....  just print it out, use some white out, then write the correct number using black ink.

 

Glad you got it to work, I'm too cheap to buy the version of adobe needed to make the form work Lol
